Карл Роберт Артур Зиеле (1860 - 1936), немецкий художник
Outside of his home country Thiele is largely known for his anthropomorphic animals, but there is very much more available.
His anthropomorphic animal postcards feature cats, geese, Easter rabbits, poultry, dogs.
He was known as Dachshund Thiele for his depictions of that dog.
Step away from the animals and you will find comic winter sports postcards, snowmen, turnips brought to life as if human, some superb bathing belle postcards and WW1 era propaganda postcards.
Thiele had work published principally by Theo Stroefer (TSN), though others were published by C.W.Faulkner, GDL (Gebruder Deitrich), Raphael Tuck, BKW.
